A gentle, supportive space for pre-teens to open up, connect, and feel heard.
The transition into the teenage years brings both exciting and sometimes challenging changes. There’s no pressure to speak, just an opportunity to listen, share, and feel understood in a safe, welcoming environment.
Participants in our pre-teen wellness talk will be guided into a calming soundbath and short meditation, designed to help ease tension, settle the mind, and create a sense of balance and calm.
This session is about creating space for expression, for connection, and for quiet rest.
This session is a community conversation for pre-teens. Structure:
✨Open up
✨Topic of conversation: becoming a teenager and all the fun and challenges that brings
✨Soundbath and meditation
Please bring a blanket, pillow, or anything that helps you feel comfortable.
At Backstage Calm, we prioritise the well-being and safety of our clients above all else. While sound baths offer numerous benefits for relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellness, it's important to note that they may not be suitable for everyone. We believe in providing transparent information to ensure that individuals can make informed decisions about their participation in our sessions.
Contraindications include:
Hearing Impairment: Individuals with severe hearing impairments or conditions affecting their ability to perceive sound may not benefit fully from sound bath experiences.
Epilepsy: Sound baths often involve rhythmic and repetitive sounds that may trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures.
Pregnancy: Pregnant individuals should exercise caution, as certain frequencies or vibrations could potentially affect them or the developing fetus. It's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in a sound bath during pregnancy.
Mental Health Conditions: Individuals with certain mental health conditions, particularly those sensitive to sensory stimuli or prone to heightened anxiety or panic attacks, should approach sound baths with caution or seek guidance from a healthcare provider.
Implanted Medical Devices: Those with implanted medical devices such as pacemakers or cochlear implants should consult with their healthcare provider to determine whether exposure to sound frequencies could interfere with the functioning of these devices.
Recent Surgeries or Injuries: People recovering from recent surgeries or injuries, especially those involving the head, neck, or ears, should avoid sound baths until they have fully healed to prevent exacerbating discomfort or complications.
It's essential for individuals to assess their own health status and consult with a qualified healthcare professional if they have any concerns or pre-existing medical conditions before participating in a sound bath. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we're here to support you on your journey towards holistic wellness.
